(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS boys’ lacrosse team now has a two-game winning streak following victories over the Manatee Hurricanes and the Venice Indians.

The first game was at 7:30 p.m. last Wednesday at the LRHS football field. The Mustangs ended their losing streak with a strong victory against Manatee, 12-4.

Senior captain Chase Sharp carried the Mustangs with three goals. Sharp claimed, “The team came together, it was a great victory.”

Friday night the boys took home another win against the Venice Indians, also at home. With another dominating score of 10-3, the boys are hopeful that their season has taken a turn.

“We are playing Sarasota Military Academy this Wednesday. I hope the boy’s keep playing well,” said head coach Jason Morales.
