Mustang orchestra ready to “Spring” forward

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Orchestra program will hold its annual Spring Fling Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8 in the LRHS auditorium to showcase the work that the students have been rehearsing all quarter.

The Spring Fling is one of the few orchestra concerts in the school year that features all four ensembles of orchestra students of every grade level. These four ensembles are Symphonic Orchestra, Intermezzo Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, and the Lakewood Camerata.

The selections that the students will be playing have been a part of their repertoire since the Winter Concert in December. The class time since then has been used to learn and master those selections to play for the public.

The LRHS Orchestra program has a history of successfully entertaining audiences with their performances and hopes to do the same at their annual Spring Fling Concert on Thursday night.
