Ally Ellis – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) Tuesday, March 6, the Mustangs flag football team played in their first game of the season, tying the Braden River Pirates 6-6-at home.

Sophomore Kelly Walker showed a great amount of enthusiasm for the season.

“It was such a great experience to see all of our hard work at practices pay off. I learned that you always have to keep your eye on the ball, no matter what,” said Walker.

Throughout the season these girls have become closer, whether on junior varsity or varsity, and look forward to creating stronger relationships and continue to bond over a new activity.

Walker also exclaimed, “The only thing I would change about the future games is that we have a bigger crowd from LRHS to support. We are only to become better and stronger.”

LRHS girls football will next take on Bayshore at home.
