(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Select LRHS seniors are beginning to apply for the annual Golden Herald Awards. This award is given to seniors who have shown exemplary service in their academic careers.

Students have been participating in mock interviews that will help them better prepare for the interviewing process.

LRHS senior Markella Paradissis-Wagner said, “I was super nervous at first because I was interviewed by people I didn’t know, but it helped me a lot.”

When applying, students choose which category they would like to be recognized in and judges will ask them questions based on the category they chose.

LRHS senior Taylor Trevithick said, “The mock interview was helpful because the judges would give us feedback on our answers. I am thankful that the judges took the time out of their day to come and help us. I feel better about my interview on Saturday after the mock interview.”

The Golden Herald Award ceremony is scheduled for April 12.
