Matthew Dugan – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)-  The LRHS girls Lacrosse team was defeated Tuesday by the Manatee Hurricanes at home, 15 -11. The team battled hard, and it is apparent how much they have already improved.

“Although we lost, we performed a lot better as a team,” said sophomore Cameron Willis. “It was certainly a great learning experience; I feel we all grew more from that game.”

Senior Audrey Mahoney led the team with six goals and felt that the team played much better.

The Mustangs are seeking their first win, hoping to capture it for the school soon. Out of Door Academy hosts the team 6 p.m. this Friday.
