Brenna Rademaker – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Things are improving for the Mustang boys’ lacrosse team, playing their first season ever.  The team played their third game of season against Cardinal Mooney last Friday at LRHS.

The Mustangs played a good game and ended with a loss of 11-7.  Owen Ingham scored three goals, and freshman Clay Barone scored four.

Junior Josh Rossi said, “We are really improving and are working better together as a team.  I’m excited for the rest of the season.”

Junior Jayden Carter on the boys’ varsity lacrosse team said, “I think we played a really good game and held our own, we just couldn’t find the back of the net.”

This is the first year the boys are playing together as a team and are just getting the hang of it.  The rest of the season is looking up for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs next game will be at 8 p.m. this Friday at LRHS against Out-of-Door Academy.
