Senior Kyle Wray shared his experience from previous years of attending the College and Career Fair, “I got to talk to colleges that I was interested in, and even some out-of-state options.”

Senior Cameron Ezazi also enjoyed the college representatives as well as the career opportunities, “I learned some new things about local businesses and jobs.”

LRHS college and career adviser Michelle Todoroff put the fair together, successfully inviting a range of both in and out of state colleges and local businesses.

The College and Career fair is set-up by LRHS’ National Honor Society (NHS). Senior member and coordinator Ally Bouderau stated, “NHS is helping to set up for the fair Thursday after school and is also tearing it down after the event.”

Some of the businesses that students can look forward to include Blake Medical Center, Center Stone, Mote Marine, Kids-R-Kids, Tropicana, Manatee County Sheriff, etc.

Some colleges that students can expect to see include Florida State, Florida Southern, Florida Polytechnic University, Full Sail University, Johnson & Wales, State College of Florida, University of Florida, University of Central Florida, Auburn University, Aviation Academy, Keiser, as well as a few military academies.
