(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS junior Ty’Raiona Roberts worked hard and dedicated herself to her education so that she could graduate early this May of 2018. Roberts’ accomplishment can be credited to hard work.

Six Mustangs are scheduled to graduate early, doing four years work in three.

LRHS registrar said, “I think these kids are doing this because they want get ahead in life.”

Roberts really wanted to attend a Historically Black College or University (HCBU) and has chosen to go to Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU).

Roberts wants to get her degree in psychology and would like to become a child psychiatrist.

After acquiring enough credits, she wanted to get a head start in achieving her dreams.

She said, “The reason why I want to be a child psychiatrist is because I watched ‘Private Practice’ and a character on the show had that job, so I researched it and realized I loved what they do.”

“Graduating early was one of the most difficult decisions to make because it made me realize how hard it may be for me to live on own in college and how close I am to becoming an adult, but I am prepared to overcome these challenges.”
