(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Future Farmers of America will be celebrating this year’s National FFA week from Feb. 20-24.

FFA week at LRHS consists of fun activities planned by the FFA, including the annual “Ag Olympics.” The Ag Olympics is a fun filled night of food, games, and a bonfire.

“I can’t wait, it is always a super fun night and helps our chapter bond and meet new people,” said FFA President Isabelle Chamness.

The FFA advisor explained it’s good food, good people, and good fun.

“This is just one of the good perks of being an FFA member, you’re given great opportunities,” said adviser and agriculture teacher Susan Grainger.

Also included in the week is:

  • Tuesday – Chapter meeting and chili cook off
  • Wednesday – Degree workshop
  • Thursday – Ag Olympics
  • Friday – FFA shirt and spirit.

Anyone interested in joining FFA see advisor Janyel Taylor in room 913.
