(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Parent Association Program is providing Mustangs with opportunities for their future.

“One of the most rewarding ways we give back is to offer scholarship money to our students,” said Jackie Breiner of the Parent Association. “Once again this year, we have raised enough funds through membership dues, sale of LRHS merchandise, etc., to be able to give out two, $1,000 scholarships.”

Last year’s scholarship winners were Shelby Ryskamp and Nicholas Hoskinson. They received the $1,000 scholarship due to their excellent high school resumes. They had over 1,000 hours of community service, were involved in various school clubs and community projects, all while carrying a 4+ Grade Point Average.

Breiner said this is a great opportunity for high school students that have put in the hard work. The Parent Association is willing to give back to the students who have given much to the school, the community and to themselves.
