Hannah Kennelly – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- A practice American College Testing (ACT) assessment is scheduled for LRHS for underclassmen after school on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in the school’s cafeteria.

Students have signed up to take the practice ACT this year and there are over 200 students on the waitlist.

The practice ACT is very beneficial in preparing students, as well as helping students perform their best on the real ACT.

The practice ACT is unofficial, meaning no colleges will see it and it will not negatively affect students.

This practice ACT is offered by Revolution Prep, which is a prep company that strives to prepare students for college.

The difference between the ACT and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is that the ACT includes a science section unlike the SAT.  The ACT is also scored differently than the SAT and is out of a score of 1/36.  The SAT goes by a score of 200/1600.
