Peyton McLaughlin – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The new year brought many changes to the LRHS front office, and many new faces have joined the LRHS family.
One of those new faces is Kristen Tambe, the new assistant bookkeeper.
Tambe said, “This position, location, and schedule are a great fit for me and my family. I’m a working mom with two young kids and was able to find them schools close to LRHS.”
A bookkeeper monitors spending and assists others in the organization with financial compliance.
She graduated high school in the Chicago area and had an accounting job at Walter E. Smithe Furniture, which started her love for numbers.
Tambe said, “I loved working with numbers and ended up staying on that path as I worked full time while obtaining my Bachelors in Business Administration.”
Tambe worked for a school fundraising company prior to coming to LRHS. She sought a job with the school system and was finally able to get it.
Her goals for the year are to be a valuable asset to the LRHS team, reduce the workload for others, and be a support to the staff and administration.
Tambe said she’s excited and eager to be LRHS’ assistant bookkeeper and she can’t wait for what the year brings.
