(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- In an effort to showcase the LRHS drumline, the Marching Mustangs will perform in the Battle of the Bridge Drum Off. It will start at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Bradenton Area River Regatta at the center span of the Green Bridge.

This event attracts 100,000 spectators annually and social media news coverage. Multiple drummers will perform for one hour, including a finale of all the drumlines performing one huge cadence for the audience.

After the performance, a firework display synced to choreographed music will last for 15 minutes, starting at 6:45 p.m.

Junior Ted Robinson is excited for the drumline and sees it as an opportunity to attract middle schoolers. “The drum off is a great way to show off our skill to everyone and get new people for next year,” Robinson said.

The drumline is excited for their upcoming performance.
