(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- “It’s been a long road trying to get lacrosse at the high school, and I’m so excited to finally give students here the chance to play,” said Samantha Stoltz, head coach for the LRHS girl’s lacrosse team.

LRHS will participate in their first lacrosse season this spring. For students interested, the tryout will be held on Jan. 29 after school.

Physical education teacher at Willis Elementary Jason Morales will be the head coach for the boys’ team. Morales said, “I’m really looking forward to the new season, I feel that we got a lot of really good athletes to start out.”

The teams will start their seasons mid-February and will host many games at the LRHS football field.
