(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Some LRHS Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) members on Jan. 25 are going to McNeal Elementary School to work with the kids by doing activities they love.

The Extended Day Enrichment Program (EDEP) at McNeal gives students opportunities to play sports, make crafts, and participate in various games, as well as a multitude of other activities. SADD students are going to make paper quilt squares with the children and instruct them to draw what they like to do at home, with their friends, or what makes them happy.

Sophomore Anna Shelby Dees stated, “I’m super excited for the event we’re holding at the elementary school to help out the students there.  I’m really happy to be a part of SADD so we can have opportunities like this to help others.”

Approximately 10 LRHS students are expected to travel to McNeal to work with the kids.  Sophomore Sarah Limexant stated, “I know it’s going to be a really fun experience and I want to get the most out of my time at the school.”
