(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS welcomes a new staff member for 2018, Kristine Dittmann.

Dittmann, the new administrative secretary, is in charge of making sure there is a teacher in every classroom. She started at LRHS just before winter break.

Before coming to Lakewood Ranch, she worked and lived in the city of Anna Maria. She worked as an administrative assistant in the building department for Anna Maria.

Dittmann has always been involved with children. She started working at the Palma Sola Presbyterian preschool from 1995 to 2008, and came back in 2011 to work for another year. Dittmann became part of this profession while volunteering while her two children attended the preschool.

Being a preschool teacher and a mother, Dittman has much experience in working with children. “Being kind to students and making them feel understood is what I have learned as a teacher,” said Dittmann.

Dittmann is excited to work at LRHS. She finds her job enjoyable and is thankful for the position.  “It’s fun to see my fellow staff members in action. I have much respect for them,” said Dittmann.

On her free time, Dittmann likes to read books, exercise and enjoys watching reenactment plays.

In the future Dittmann looks forward to working and interacting with the different members of staff and to learn more about her job through experience.
