(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) Tuesday, Jan. 16 there will be a track and field meeting held in room 608. This meeting will cover fees, information, paperwork and more.

Track practices will begin Jan. 27 and will take place every day after school until the season ends.

Field events consist of pole vaulting, hurdles, high jump and more.  Track and Field coach Mark Napier can also help students choose events depending on individual strengths.

Sophomore Baily Wegenast competed in the 800m long distance race last year.

“I gained a lot friends but I found some challenges along the way,” said Wegenast.

Napier will be giving out more information regarding the sport at the meeting on Tuesday and encourages students to attend.
