Brenna Rademaker – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS boys basketball team lost to the top-ranked team in the country, Memphis East High School, by 16 points last night at Culligan’s City of Palms Classic tournament.

LRHS fell behind in the first quarter 19-7, and the final score was 78-56.

LRHS basketball coach, Jeremy Schiller told HT Preps, “Where you grow is through adversity.  Our guys getting a chance to play against the best in the country and saying we went toe-to-toe with them.”

Schiller continued by saying he was really proud and pleased with how hard the team played.

LRHS has their next game in the tournament Wednesday at noon against Orlando Christian Prep.
