(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- With Winter break nearing, LRHS seniors are feeling the pressure of semester one exams. For many seniors, these tests will be their last chance to prove themselves to colleges.

“I started studying this weekend,” said Paige Venuto, “It has been stressful knowing that these are my last high school exams.”

Venuto and many other seniors have taken the semester seriously, and aspire of getting into prestigious schools.

Nick Maxham claimed that he really wants to get into the University of Florida, and feels that these exams could “make or break” his chances.

Some seniors have thought otherwise, such as Alexis Brindley, who said that she has not begun studying yet, “I’m just really glad these are my last ones, and I’m excited to get them over with. I have been accepted into the schools I would like to go to, so these exams or more or less useless for me.”

Some other seniors also agree with Brindley, and some simply just hope for the best. “The exams are important to me, but I still won’t study,” uttered Cade Wessel, who has big plans after school.
