(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The holidays are just around the corner and Mustangs are looking for the most festive and cheery Christmas themed movies to watch and stream.

Sophomore Chloe Nelson said that her favorite movie is “Elf”. “It a funny and entertaining,” she said. Junior Sylvie Dumoulin also said that “Elf’ is the only movie I find funny.”

Senior Jasmine Alexander stated that the Polar Express is her favorite movie during the holidays because “it brings back memories from my childhood; I watched it as a kid growing up. I can never watch the movie without my hot chocolate and popcorn.”

Senior Kayla Bell stated that her all-time favorite Christmas movie is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

“My grandma introduced to that movie and it’s been a ritual to me ever since she passed away to watch it every Christmas,” she commented.

Sophomore Mariette Tomlinson said her must watch Christmas movie is “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”

“I like how it is a mix of Halloween and Christmas, so I can watch it at either time of the year and it would still fit for either season,” she said.

Sophomore Morgan Kirchman said the “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” is an absolute must watch in her family, “It’s really fun and reminds of the typical, crazy, and fun family.”

Junior Cedris Bullard said that her family’s die-hard Christmas movie is “Home Alone,”

“It’s a family oriented movie that me and my family watch every year around Christmas time and it’s very humorous,” she said.
