Rachel Lamoureaux – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS will hold a meeting for prospective dual enrolled and advanced placement (AP) parents at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29 in the school auditorium.

School counselor Tracy Jordan said parents will “join the School Counselors and the Career and College Advisor for information about the advantages of accelerated academic programs available through Lakewood Ranch High School.” She said parents will learn more about the differences between dual enrollment and advanced placement classes.

The meeting will cover dual enrolled and AP requirements and deadlines. This will help students make informed and successful decisions.

The meeting will cover the types of rigorous classes student will attend, going over differences and procedures for dual enrollment.

Parents will get important dates and deadlines. Students and parents are urged to attend this informational meeting to learn more about AP/ dual classes.
