Bryce Boese – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Some front office changes will be sprung upon LRHS as the second quarter passes its mid-point. The guidance and attendance offices will be seeing some position changes and farewells.
Assistant LRHS bookkeeper Kelly Brown will take a new job at Manatee Technical College.
“I would like to say my time at LRHS was great,” she said. “It was my first job in the state of Florida after moving here in November of 2015. I started at LRHS in January of 2016. Even though it was just shy of two years it was a lot of fun and I made friends I will have for a long time.”
Guidance clerk Stephanie Killian also found a new position, this one at the Manatee County circuit court.
“Absolutely I will miss my job and everyone here, my new position will be at the Manatee County clerk’s office, I will be in the civil department,” she said. “I will be dealing with attorneys and court cases. My first day will be the first Monday after thanksgiving break, Nov 27.”
Meanwhile, attendance clerk Leota Walker will transfer to Killian’s position.
School secretary Luann Futchko will be leaving as her husband is transferring to Texas.
“I have been at LRHS for almost five years now, and honestly it has been wonderful,” she said. “I have made so many friends with the staff and students. I am relocating to Texas and will miss everyone. I don’t ever say goodbye, I always say see you later. I just want to say a special thanks to my office aides, Trinity Chavez, Cameron Illig, Holly Leiberic, Lindsey Boyett, Anthony Pistella, and Kelly Kisida. You guys rock.”
This leaves three open positions that the school will fill. LRHS will be interviewing for an attendance position, bookkeeper, and new secretary.
