(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS FFA host the annual Ranch Round Up, a fundraiser that is a great opportunity for alumni, parents, and community members to visit and see what the chapter and students have done at the Ranch. At the same time, it is a great fundraiser for the chapter to continue traveling and competing in a diverse number of activities.

This year’s Nov. 9 Round Up was tremendous success.  While making new contacts within the chapter, agriculture students mingled throughout the crowd while showing off the land lab where many school activities take place.

LRHS junior and FFA member Kelsie Phaneuf attended the Ranch Round Up for the second time. “It was a great time to spend with family while raising money for our chapter,” said Phaneuf.

Sophomore Kelly Walker agreed, “It was a fun time and I plan to attend again next year.”

Another aspect of the Ranch Round up is a southern BBQ cooked dinner by the alumni and a silent auction of wood working projects made by students in agriculture classes.
