Rachel Lamoureaux and Olivia Loop – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- As a reminder to Mustangs, at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5 Daylight saving time ends. This means clocks will be set back by an hour. It is very important for Mustangs who use a non-networked clock to set it back.

Daylight saving time will start back up on Sunday, March 11, 2018. According to wonerpolis.org, “Daylight saving time was created to make better use of the long sunlight hours of the summer. By ‘springing’ clocks forward an hour in March we move an hour daylight from the morning to the evening.”

While Daylight savings will take time for Mustangs to get used to, scientists are still debating on its positive and negative effects.
