(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- This weekend the LRHS Junior Reserved Officer Training Corp’s (JROTC) three raider teams are competing in their district championship meet.

The meet is scheduled for Saturday morning, Nov. 4, and will be hosted at Braden River High School.

This is potentially the last Raider meet of the 2017-18 season. If the three teams don’t qualify for states, their season will end Saturday.

A single raider meet consists of a 5K run, 1-mile liter carry, rope bridge, tire flip, first aid test and obstacle course.

Senior female team leader Alex Fallacaro said, “I can’t wait to scare the other schools and show what great potential we have, and can’t wait to compete with my ladies.”
