NHS offers teachers help

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS National Honor Society (NHS) Teacher Help Day is this Thursday, Oct. 26 and is designed to help teachers who need an extra hand around their classrooms. Ten NHS members are ready to assist teachers after school on Oct. 26.

“The feedback for the Teacher Help Day is always positive and appreciated,” said LRHS English teacher and NHS adviser Mary Eskett. They have notes and emails from teachers thanking the students for their hard work. The teachers really enjoy this day.

In the past teachers have asked students to move furniture, empty teacher’s cars of heavy books, dusted books in the library, washed and rearranged trophies, and washed shelves.

These Mustangs are dedicated to helping their school operate and the faculty appreciates it.
