(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS volleyball season is wrapped up as the ladies played their last game of the season Tuesday night at Venice.

The ladies were unable to take home a win but they fought hard and played a good game as a team one last time this season.

For seniors Niki Cain, Taylor Trent, Ciarra Scarbrough, and Holly Leiberick, this was their last game of their high school season as they will be graduation this year.

Leiberick said, “I’m really sad the season is over because of how well the team got along. As well as the fact that this will also probably be the last time I’ll ever play. Overall though playing volleyball all four of my high school experience was both a good and fun experience.”

Coach Perri Hankins said, “I don’t like when the season is over because it is my favorite time of the year. We had a very successful season; we worked hard, improved, and got some key wins. Our team had fun and really bonded as a group on and off the court. I will miss this team and season.”
