(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS FFA volunteered at the annual Hunsader’s Pumpkin Festival this past weekend at the corn cannon.

The corn cannon is an activity that FFA members have volunteered at for the last six years.

LRHS junior and FFA member Alicia Acevedo volunteered for the first time at the corn canon. “It was very fun helping out and seeing the joy on the younger kids faces when they get to shoot corn out of a cannon,” said Acevedo.

Junior Alexandria Seneck agreed with Acevedo, “It was hot, but I enjoy seeing all the kids smiling and having fun at the booth.”

The FFA chapters get a donation from Hunsader’s every year for helping with the corn cannon booth.
