(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – This upcoming weekend the LRHS Junior Reserved Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Raider team is set to compete here at LRHS for their second meet of the 2017-18 season.

On Saturday the three LRHS teams, male, co-ed, and female, will compete against the other schools in the county. The meet will start around 7 a.m.

The meet will consist of a 5K run, a one-mile liter carry, a half-mile obstacle course, tire flipping, a rope bridge, and the first aid test.

Senior team leader Alex Fallacaro said, “I cannot wait for our second meet on Saturday. We did a great job in our first meet, but I am so looking forward to this Saturday. I cannot wait to scare the other schools and show what great potential we have. I am excited for all the events and can’t wait to take home first place.”
