Key Club looks forward to active October

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Key Club is off to a busy start, engaging students with upcoming events.  Several give students opportunities to participate in long-term community service projects.

YMCA Tackle Football– Sept. 29 to Oct. 28 (Every Saturday), 8:30 a.m.-12:20 p.m. or 12:30-4:30 p.m. (stay 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) at the Lakewood Ranch YMCA. Jobs will include working with snacks, keeping the score, or helping set & clean up.

Freedom Elementary Face Painting– 6-8 p.m. Sept. 29, if anyone is interested please contact LRHS senior Erika Roja at (941)928-8187.

Triathlon Festival– Oct. 7, shift one from 7:15-11:30 a.m., Aid station. Shift two from 12:45-6 p.m., Transition support. On Oct. 8, shift 1: 7:15 a.m.-1 p.m., Aid Station. Shift 2: 2-4:30 p.m., Bike Course Support.

KCKC– Key Club Kick-off Conference, from 1-5 p.m. Oct. 17 at Booker High School (3201 N Orange Ave, Sarasota, FL 33946). There will be workshops, District Convention reveal, free food, etc. Attire is Business casual or professional.

Key Club meets every Tuesday after school from 2:15 -3 p.m. in room 509.
