(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a club that helps students enhance their business skills, and can help lead them into the business world. It is the perfect club for anybody looking to go into a career in business because of its many opportunities to learn about the business industry.

FBLA adviser Dr. Bobbi Colson said, “This gives students a different insight to business through the different conferences we get to meet and get networking. It gives them a really good eye opener.”

LRHS graduate Molly Mendoza said, “FBLA is a club full of opportunities for competitions at district, state, and national levels in all sorts of business related subjects. We also have several conferences each year to work towards being a better leader, fundraisers so we can do fun things, and volunteer opportunities to better our community.”

FBLA has competitions at the district, state, and national levels in business related subjects such as Management Decision Making, Network Design, and Agribusiness.

Mustangs join FBLA because of the club’s opportunities, and the possibility to learn about many different subjects pertaining to business. FBLA is a good club to join if for anyone interested in business or who plans to pursue a career in the field.
