(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The LRHS Swim Team held their second home meet with great success Wednesday, Sept. 20 at the Lakewood Ranch YMCA Pool,

Both the girls and boys teams won first place overall against Manatee High School (MHS), Southeast High School (SEHS), and Cardinal Mooney High School (CMHS). The girls team scored a total of 103 points leaving MHS in second place with 51 points, SEHS in third place with 10 points, and CMHS in fourth place with 6 points.

The boys’ team scored a total of 88 points leaving MHS in second place with 59 points, and SEHS in third place with 23 points. There weren’t any boys at the meet for CMHS.

In addition to the overall win, 25 Mustang Swimmers set personal best race times, 11 swimmers finished in first place in their individual events and Mustang swimmers won five of six relays.

The LRHS Swim Team will swim the next meet at 5 p.m. on Sept. 27 at the Sarasota YMCA Potter Park Pool.
