(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Spanish club is planning for their first meeting Friday, Sept. 8 in room 503.

Students will watch cultural movies, eat authentic foods, and play traditional games.

“This year we are going to include many fun activities while learning more about the culture,” said club President senior Max Gonzalez.

One new element this year’s officers plan to add is one-on-one tutoring sessions. Gonzalez said, “For anyone interested in tutoring, there will be private sessions with officers under a calendar system.”

Anyone can join the club even if you are not in a Spanish class, and it is a great opportunity to meet new people.

“This club is very student driven, I am just here to supervise,” said club adviser and LRHS Spanish teacher Lillian Martinez.
