A new photography wall gives Mustangs the chance to display their talents

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- LRHS yearbook adviser and graphic arts teacher Greg Klein has developed a collaborative wall at the end of the 531 building for his photography students. This was created in attempts to capture the bright ideas and perspectives of Mustang photography students.

Although the photo wall is not necessarily a new concept to the photography class, photo 1 students were rarely permitted to post pictures on the wall. This year, it is open for usage for the photography 1 and 2 students.

The yearbook has taken pride in constructing the wall, as they brought in pin boards and art supplies to add to the overall idea. Klein describes the wall as “project dependent,” meaning only the best work from the students is what is posted on the board for everyone to see.

“I’ve got lots of experience working in art galleries,” Klein said. “The kids will learn how to professionally mount and display their work.”

He hopes to capture the attention of many with this wall, and to show LRHS through the eyes of the students.
