Not only was Richards a former student at LRHS, but he also was the test coordinator, instructional technology speialist and assistant football coach.

Richards started his career as a trim carpenter for seven years until he decided to help others and teach them general technology knowledge.

“I teach engineering, it is a fun place with tools and software that you would not believe. It is a fun job and I enjoy the building aspect of this job,” Richards said.

Many students enjoy taking this class and learning about the basics of engineering.

“The engineering class allows students to decide if they want to become an engineer later in life and become certified in several industries,” Richards commented.
