(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – LRHS juniors and seniors are still recovering from one of the school’s most anticipated nights of the year – prom night. Members of the LRHS Junior Advisory Board spent time and energy preparing the Hyatt in Sarasota for the biggest night of the year and the consensus reveals success.

What was the best part of prom?  Take our poll!

The theme, “Enchanted Evening,” was enjoyed by over 750 LRHS upperclassmen in addition to a few lucky guests. Attendees were treated from 8 – 10 p.m. at the Hyatt hotel in Sarasota with food and drink, enthusiastic service in addition to up and music that helped create an elegant ambiance.

The use of small candles, towering trees and the little details cleverly placed by the JAB helped make the prom a success.

“Prom was a lot of fun! I’m so glad I got to experience it my junior year and I plan to go again next year as a senior,” reported LRHS junior Makenzie Mazzella.

The night  wouldn’t have been complete without the crowning of prom King and Queen. Eric Gutowski won King and Tori Beaudrou won the title of Queen about halfway through the festivities.

“A night to remember,” said senior Emily Derrick, “I had an amazing night with amazing people,” remarked senior Parker Wilson.
