Orchestra ready for judging

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – On Sat. April 8, the LRHS Orchestra will send 14 students to the State Solo and Ensemble Music Performance Assessments (MPA) at Brandon High School in Brandon.

MPAs are Music Performance Assessments. After performing on stage for judges, those competing in MPAs receive scores of Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent, or Superior.

These 14 students all qualified for State MPAs at the District MPAs in January, each earning either an Excellent, Superior, or Superior with Distinction score.

  • Lilly Potter, Violin
  • Michael Miller, Clarinet
  • Briana Svagdis, Cello
