JROTC recognizes cadets, new officers

McKenzie Mazzella – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Wednesday April 5 was Lakewood Ranch High Schools Junior Reserved Officer Training Corps (JROTC) annual award ceremony.

The battalion recognized cadets for their accomplishments and hard work throughout the school year.

Senior cadets were identified for the time and effort they’ve put into the program over the last four years.

Future leadership and staff were also announced. The following students will represent the Mustang Battalion for the 2017-2018 school year.

  • Elsa Fagulha- Command Sergeant Major
  • Morgan Lingle- Executive Officer
  • Adjutant Officer- Kendal Brahler
  • Operations and Training Officer- Samantha Petch
  • Assistant Operations and Training Officer- Sofia Uribe
  • Logistics Officer – Lael Dabney
  • Public Affairs Officer- McKenzie Mazzella
  • Assistant to Public Affairs Officer- Olivia Dyce

Juniors Breanne Mazzella and Elsa Fagulha said they look forward to seeing what the battalion has to offer and working with the new staff.
