Cate Eschmann – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Only nine weeks to go and seniors can’t quite believe it.
“I’ve been avoiding thinking about it,” said Natalie Fineman. “It’s weird to think how close it is to being here.”
Sierra Barber agreed.
“For the past three years, I’ve been dreaming about graduating. But now it’s so close and I know everything will change. I feel anxious, but in a bittersweet way,” she said.
Some seniors see graduation as very stressful.
Makayla Mench said, “Thank goodness. Being graduated is going to take away a huge amount of stress.”
Riley Murphy agreed.
“I feel like there’s a huge weight on my shoulders,” said Murphy. “I can’t wait for graduation so that I can be free of it.”
Mostly they are excited for the future.
Halie Gingerich said, “I’m excited for senior year to end and to get to start something new at college.”
Even Brodsky agreed.
“I’m really looking forward to the future and the uncertainties that it has to offer,” he said.
“I feel ecstatic,” Kat Proctor said.
