(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Every year the LRHS FFA holds its “Ag Olympics,” a night filled with games, food and a bonfire.

The purpose of the “Ag Olympics” is to have a night when FFA members from high and middle schools can put their leadership and team building skills to the test; it is also a great recruitment for middle school students to learn about the LRHS FFA and agriculture programs.

Freshmen, Andrea Mcpherson attended the “Ag Olympics” for the first time Thursday night.

“It was definitely a night to remember, I loved watching everybody enjoying themselves,” said Mcpherson. “I can’t wait for next year.”

LRHS FFA adviser Janyel Taylor said the event was a success.

“We all had fun and there was a good turnout,” she said.
