Seniors urged to double check diploma names

Justin Conway – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- Receiving a diploma can be one of the most satisfying parts of graduating. It would be a shame if a student received a diploma with his or her name spelled incorrectly.

LRHS has sent out to seniors name diploma name change forms. The name that is on the form will be the name printed on the diploma. If the name on the form is incorrect students must print the correct spelling and have their parent or guardian sign the form, then turn it into guidance/registration by Feb. 17.

If a student’s name is correctly spelled, they do not need to return the form.

The name should be as it is on the student’s birth certificate. LRHS cannot print nick names or any name that does not appear on students’ birth certificates.
