Cate Eschmann – Mustangs Ahead
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Only 12 weeks to go, and LRHS seniors are holding steady on the countdown.
“I’m super ecstatic that there’s only a few weeks left,” said Alena Stranovsky, “I can’t wait to move on to bigger and better things.”
Dana Cox agreed.
“I can’t wait to leave and go to college. I’m most excited about being surrounded by a new group of people, people I haven’t grown up with,” she said.
Nick Novak said, “I feel great. I’m excited for college and moving on with my life.”
“I’m nervous-excited,” said Caitlin Grayson, “I can’t wait to change up my surroundings by going to college but I’m also nervous because that means I’m one step closer to being an adult.”
Some seniors feel differently.
“I’m extremely antsy. I haven’t heard back from my first choice university yet so I’ll probably be antsy about graduation until I know where I’m going,” said Jessica Roberts.
“I’m indifferent about it,” said Gabriella Gobbo. “I’m not really thinking about it too much. Keeping focused on the present.”
