Danielle Kennedy  – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – This is a big week for seniors on the LRHS soccer teams.  Both boys and girls teams are hosting senior nights.

The boys, with a record of 12-1-1 will be hosting Venice at 7p.m. tonight for senior night.

Seniors Vincent Archibald and Sam Stapleton are pleased with the recognition.

“I feel proud,” said Archibald, “because we are all getting recognized  for how good we have been doing.”

Stapleton followed that with, “It’s exciting to walk across the field with my parents to be recognized for the years that I’ve played.”

Friday night the girls (13-2-2) will host their senior night. They will be playing Palmetto High at 7pm.

Seniors Kerestyn Kesgiropoulos said, “it’s a bittersweet moment, I’m happy to be playing with the girls but I’m also sad because this our last year.”

Maddison Krstec is looking forward to the night.

“I’ve been waiting for this time and it is very exciting  to be playing,” she said.  “I’m excited to see all my friends and family there supporting me.”
