FCCLA leaders hone skills

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- A select few members of the Ranch’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), spent their Thanksgiving break in Orlando for a National Cluster meeting.

The meeting was designed to further leadership skills of the attendees through workshops, general meetings and listening to motivational speakers.

Four junior FCCLA members, juniors Skylee Miller, State VP of Public Relations, Taylor Trevithick, State President Elect, Sidney Oake, Chapter President Elect and Hannah McWilliam, attended the meeting.

“It was a fun trip where I learned plenty of leadership skills. I also was happy to see my state council after months of not seeing each other,” Miller said.

Trevithick and Miller presented a workshop called Lead2Feed while in Orlando.

Trevithick said, “It was exciting to present a workshop with my fellow state officers, which later got recognition from the Lead2Feed organization.”
