(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) club is hard at work. This club is made up of only seven LRHS students, but club President Kirina Lakhwani, senior, elaborates on why she is so involved in the club.

“I have seen first hand how smoking can affect people,” she said, “I enjoy being in a club that advocates for the cause is really beneficial.”

She went on to talk about her favorite SWAT times she said, “Sandblast was my favorite. There was a zip line and fun games at the beach.”

SWAT students help by volunteering and giving their time, they are a club that is looking out for all students.

The SWAT club has a “Kick Butt” day in March to raise awareness against cigarettes.
