(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Finding the right college to attend is at the top of many seniors’ minds, right before meeting application deadlines, setting up campus tours and graduating.

Some seniors are still deciding where they would like to go, but others have already made up their minds.

“I love University of Florida,” said Senior Ashley Maple. “There are a lot of great opportunities there, and I hope I get accepted.”

Rachel Jenkins said, “The Tampa campus of the University of South Florida is my favorite so far. They have a great business program.”

Holden Elling would like to attend the University of Central Florida.

“The campus was super nice and the students seemed friendly. They also have an amazing engineering program, which is what I want to major in,” Elling said.

Emily Derrick has fallen in love with Sarasota’s Ringling College of Art and Design.

“They have a great photography program. I really hope they accept me,” she said.

Natalie Fineman agreed.

“The classes  at Ringling look amazing,” she said. “The people all seem really friendly and I’m excited for the experiences I could get there.”

Stephanie Szbad is looking for a quicker way to get her degree.

“I’m going to attend Manatee Technical Institute. It’s a fast college, I can get in and out. I like that I can focus solely on what I’m majoring in.”
