(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Lakewood Leaders are volunteering at the annual Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival. The volunteer work began Oct. 15 and will continue every Saturday and Sunday for the rest of the month.

The volunteers work at game booths that benefit the Family Network on Disabilities, All Children’s Hospital, and Children’s Dream Fund. The games include soccer and football challenges for small prizes.

This Hunsader’s event is among Lakewood Leaders’ most popular events for the entire year. Dozens of members take part in the event and many of them sign up for several shifts.

First time Hunsader’s volunteer senior Sienna Cirringione said, “I’m excited to visit and volunteer at the Pumpkin Festival next weekend. I haven’t been able to do it any other year, so I’m taking advantage of my last chance.”

Junior Breelyn Clement volunteered last weekend.

“It was consistently busy in the Kid’s Corner and it was lots of fun, I would definitely do it again,” she said.

In order for Lakewood Leaders to sign up they need to visit the club’s website https://leaders.lrhsclubs.com and then visit adviser, Meghan Sugalski in room 587, for their entrance ticket.
