Seniors reflect on final homecoming game

Caitlin Grayson – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Friday, October 28 the LRHS Mustang seniors will play in their final homecoming football game.

This year the Mustangs take on the North Port Bobcats.

Senior tight end Nick Hoskinson said, “I hope we can achieve our first win this Friday. We didn’t win our homecoming game last year so I’m hoping to gain the win this year.”

Senior defensive strong safety Trace Parcels said, “It’s sad to see this season coming to an end.  With it being my last homecoming game at this school I’m hoping to win the game.”

Senior defensive nose tackle Bailey Jackson agreed.

“I honestly believe that this being our last homecoming game that it will be very emotional game as well as senior night,” he said.  “I don’t like that I only have two games left. None of us seniors do, however, football has prepared us for our lives beyond the football field. So no matter if this homecoming game is our last, we will cherish it and make great memories for years to come.”
