(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Homecoming week is halfway finished and seniors are having mixed emotions.

“It’s so sad,” said Morgan LaMarc. “It makes me reminiscent.”

Gianna Peralli agreed.

“Even though I didn’t dress up, I’m going to miss seeing other people in costumes.”

Ashton Adams said, “This is always the fun week.  Like, it never really feels like school because everyone is more focused on the events, dressing up, and having fun with their friends. It’s really sad that this is the last one.”

Hannah York shared the thought.

“I feel sad about the end of this tradition, but I’m excited to make new memories and traditions,” York said.

Halie Gingerich said, “I’m not really sad about it, but it was a lot of fun seeing everyone in costumes. The dance was also super fun, to get all dressed up and have fun with my friends.”

Dana Cox felt differently.

“It had to end at some point,” Cox said. “I feel indifferent, I guess.”
