Seniors have one quarter down but much to do

Molly Mendoza – Mustangs Ahead

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – As second quarter begins, LRHS seniors have a lot to do in terms of college and life after high school, but there is also a lot of senior business to catch up on in school according to senior class adviser Ann Fleury and the Senior Advisory Board.

Seniors have already had one meeting that discussed information cards from Herff Jones concerning caps and gowns. Senior fees were discussed, they will be $25 until the end of first semester, they will then increase to $30. Fees may be paid before or after school in room 572.

In the upcoming months there will be another meeting to address the ordering of caps and gowns.

The end of September saw one senior privilege event. In order to receive senior privileges all seniors must have their senior privilege card. Seniors without a card are advised to see Fleury in room 572.

Senior sweatshirt sales ended Oct. 13, and they will be delivered as soon as possible. Senior t-shirt sales are upcoming.  The date for the start of t-shirt sales is to be announced. They will be $10 and available for purchase before and after school in room 572 as well as during all lunches.

Seniors are nominating their yearbook superlative classmates this week during economics or U.S. government classes. Seniors are able to nominate up to two boys and two girls for each of the twenty superlative categories. Once all nominations are turned in and organized, final voting will commence.

To keep up to date with all senior information from Senior Advisory Board and Fleury, seniors should follow their Twitter account @LRHSeniors, check the Senior Class Information webpage on the LRHS website, and sign up for the Remind 101 by texting @22fgk to 81010.
